Olsburg

Välkommen to Olsburg, Kansas, founded in 1880 by Swedes and Norwegians. Olsburg strives to preserve its Swedish heritage with several events through the year.  In September there is the Olsburg Fall Festival, a family friendly day full of activities for everyone.  December brings the Swedish Supper on the first Saturday in December. Olsburg is one of the communities along the Kansas Flint Hills Barn Quilt Trail. There are scenic trails, The Horsehead and Rolander Express for hikers, bicyclist and vehicles.  Olsburg Marsh, north of Olsburg on Shannon Creek Road and the Public Hunting area along Tuttle Creek Lake provides hunters with amazing hunting and fishing opportunities.  Olsburg is home to over 40 thriving businesses.  Two parks are found here.  A beautiful City Park with a refreshing swimming pool, playground and new basketball court and new building housing our Rural Fire Department.
