Blue Township

Blue Township is the fastest growing part of Pottawatomie County and includes the eastern corner of Manhattan, east of Tuttle Creek Boulevard and along the U.S. Highway 24 Corridor. Blue Township grew by nearly 30% in the last 10 years with a 69% increase in population from 2000-2010. The growth area along the East US-24 corridor, in Pottawatomie County, significantly expands long-term opportunities for commercial and urban residential development and supporting uses within the Manhattan Urban Area

capitalizing on its close proximity to major employment centers in the City of Manhattan,  Kansas State University and Fort Riley, and in neighboring communities.
